J&K Grameen Bank celebrated International Women’s Day at its Head Office Narwal Jammu on Monday 8th March 2021
The theme for this year's International Women's Day 2021 is
#ChooseToChallenge.
It indicates that a "challenged world is an alert world, and from challenge comes change"
On this auspicious occasion, Chairman Mr.Sudhir Gupta greeted all its women staff and said that Empowering women is very necessary for bringing gender equality. Those societies flourish well where women are given equal respect and are not taken for granted.
Even the families also flourish where women are respected. He further said that Women today have got equal potential. Today’s women realize their strengths and abilities and step out in order to contribute to the society and the world consequently.
Mr.Ajay Kohli, General Manager of the Bank wished all their women staff on the occasion of International Women’s Day and thanked the women clientele for being associated with the bank. He said that The day is aimed to help nations worldwide eliminate discrimination
against women. It is also focused on helping women gainful and equal participation in global development.
Women staff in J&K Grameen Bank who have also excelled in their respective fields, be it leading the Branches/ leading the Departments / Team Leaders / Implementation of Projects / Fulfulling of targets were appreciated by the Management.
