J&K GRAMEEN BANK unveils e-Calender for the year 2021

J&K Grameen Bank has today unveiled e-Calender 2021 for its esteemed customers. The e-Calender was unveiled today by Chief General Manager NABARD, Mr.R.K.Srivastava for the year 2021 at Bank’s Head Office Narwal Jammu.

The unveiling ceremony was graced by DGM NABARD, Mr.Rahul Shashni, Chairman JKGB Mr.Sudhir Gupta, General Manager JKGB Mr.Ajay Kohli, Chief AI&V JKGB Mr.Vinay Gupta and other officials of the Bank.

As the conventional practice, the Bank has been distributing Calendars to its customers and the general public for decades. The decision to go for Digital Calender instead of the printed version comes on the back of Finance Ministry Advisory wherein it was communicated to all Government Organizations including banks to opt for digital calendars for economizing the expenses, wider reach and efficiency.

Speaking on the occasion, CGM NABARD, Mr.R.K.Srivastava congratulated the Bank’s management for the new endeavor and lauded the efforts of the Bank. He added that the digital future of economy coupled with the Govt advisory post COVID-19 outbreak, it was correct decision taken by the Bank to shift to digital platform.

Mr.Sudhir Gupta, Chairman JKGB greeted all the dignitaries present on the occasion and said that it was right time for the Bank to switch from the age-old practice of printing of Calenders to the digital mode. The digital calendar is easy to download, as the Bank shall be uploading PDF format of the e-Calender on its website and Social Media Handles. The e-Calender shall reach to almost anyone with a smart phone. He assured that the association between Bank and its customers would be more strengthened and reliable with this transition.

The Bank’s e-Calender 2021 in PDF format can be downloaded from the Website of the Bank (https://www.jkgb.in) or from the Social Media Handles of the Bank. Besides Bank shall also be sending SMS to all its customers, envisaging therein the link for the e-Calender download.

JKGB is keen to introduce more technology – enabled interventions to bring comfort and convenience to its customers, thereby contributing towards the dream of honorable PM Sh.Narendra Modi for Digital India.
