Chairman JKGB launches Branch IMPS Services
J&K Grameen Bank launched IMPS services through its Branches on 6th October 2020. This is in addition to the NEFT & RTGS Services being already utilized by the customers through Branch channels.
The Branch IMPS services were inaugurated by Bank’s Chairman Mr. Sudhir Gupta at Bank’s Head Office Jammu. The inauguration was made in presence of Bank’s General Manager Jammu Mr.Ajay Kohli, Chief of AI&V Mr.Vinay Gupta and all the Department Heads.
JKGB has already been providing IMPS services though its own Mobile Banking Application namely JKGB m-Bank since April 2020.
Chairman appreciated the efforts of DAC Team headed by Ms.Jyotsna Garib.
IMPS through Branch channel has been introduced by the Bank to facilitate the customers with more convenient and hassle free ways for instant funds transfer.
Branch IMPS provides secure and instant interbank fund transfer during Banking hours.
Bank customer can visit any Bank Branch and transact through Branch IMPS by providing remitter and beneficiary details after filing the form.
Two modes of funds transfer are available through Branch IMPS ::
: Through MMID, Mobile No and
: Through IFSC , Account No.
Maximum limit on transactions ::
The daily upper limit for fund transfer per account is Rs.1,00,000/-
Though Branch IMPS, amount can be transferred to the accounts in any other Bank.
