Chairman J&K GRAMEEN BANK launches Bank’s Mobile Banking Application

J&K Grameen Bank added another feather to its cap by launching its own Mobile Banking Application (JKGB m-BANK). The said Mobile Application has been launched by Chairman Mr.Janak Raj Angural at Bank’s Head Office Narwal. Chairman congratulated the team of Digital & Alternative Channel Cell, IT Department for all the diligence and efforts made by them. He expressed his gratification in fulfilling the long pending demand of customers for the latest Digital Services. He acknowledged that the Digital transactions are a need of the hour and the Bank aides its mission to make India a cashless economy. The launch of Bank’s Mobile Application shall definitely boost the morale of Bank’s customers and he apprised that the Mobile Application is available on the Google Play Store and shall be made available on Apple Store soon. Salient Features of Mobile Banking Application are : Balance Inquiry , Funds Transfer, Mini Statement generation, Account Details, Card Hotlisting, PIN Generation, PIN Change and Nominee updation. Customer can transfer funds using IMPS and NEFT Channels. The daily transaction limit shall be Rs.1 lakh per user. The Application is secure, customer friendly and is available round the clock. Customers can now onwards carry Banking operations through their Mobile phones. Besides requests like Cheque Book issuance and Debit Card can also be made using the App. Bank intends to integrate the application with BBPS (Bharat Bill Payment System) of NPCI for bill payments and shall provide customers with the facility to set his/her transaction limits for card usage on different channels in near future.
Sh.Davinder Bali, General Manager JKGB thanked the clientele of the Bank for being associated with the Bank and putting trust in Bank’s digital services. He emphasized that the customers should not respond to fake calls and should not share their OTPs, PINs, Card details with any person. Bank never asks for the same.
Sh. D.D.Gupta, Chief AI&V also expressed his gratitude over the commencing of Bank’s own Mobile Banking Application and congratulated the entire staff of the Mobile Banking Team for their strenuous efforts.
Ms.Jyotsna Garib, Incharge Digital & Alternate Channels of the Bank also thanked the management of the Bank for their incessant and consistent directions towards digitization of the Bank. She also thanked the members of the Mobile Banking Team viz : Mr.Daljit Singh, Mr.Ishan Wali, Mr.Rahul Pandit for their expeditious hard work and dedication. She assured that Bank shall continuously endeavor in bringing the paramount digital services to its customers. The launch of the Application shall be of great relief to the customers amid the current situation amongst COVID-19 spread.

Presently J&K Grameen Bank Offers digital products to its customers as ::- RuPay Debit Cards , Kisan Cards, PMJDY Debit Cards, NEFT/ RTGS, POS, eCOM, IMPS, SMS Alerts, BHIM UPI, PFMS, ABPS and DBT.
