Sh. Janak Raj Angural, Chairman J&K Grameen Bank, continued with his efforts to feed the needy throughout the Union territory amid the outbreak of Novel COVID-19 pandemic.
Sh. Janak Raj Angural, Chairman J&K Grameen Bank, continued with his efforts to feed the needy throughout the Union territory amid the outbreak of Novel COVID-19 pandemic. Under his guidance, Donation Camps were held at different areas falling under District Jammu as well as District Samba by staff of J&K Grameen Bank.
Mr. Amit Laira, Regional Manager Kathua/Samba along with all the Branch Heads of Branches falling under Samba District organized a donation relief camp at Village Ramgarh , Samba and distributed ration packets which included Wheat, Rice, Pulses, Oil, Salt etc and masks to the poor and needy persons suffering in this difficult period. The SHO Ramgarh, Sh. Chaman Lal Gorkha along with the police personnel also helped in the smooth and hassle free distribution of essential items.
Simultaneously in Jammu District, Mr. Sahil Sharma, Regional Manager Jammu along with Mr. Vishal Mehta, Branch Head B/O Bohri Patta, JKGB and rest of staff members of the Branch also distributed the essential items .
The initiative taken up by the bank was well appreciated by the Sarpanch and Panches of Panchayat of Ramgarh, Samba District as well as by Panches of Panchayat of Sarora Tehsil Marh, Jammu District.
More than 350 persons were provided with essential items while maintaining proper social distancing.
The prominent persons of both the areas also thanked J&K Grameen Bank for this noble cause.
